Cooperating with German DDS in 2008, Shaoguan Hydraulics successfully developed hydraulic cylinders for all the hydraulic operators on the 18,500 ton hydraulic open forging press owned by Citic Heavy Industries Co., Ltd. All the hydraulic cylinders were manufactured domestically. The 185 MN quick forging press requires quick operation and high pressure; Shaoguan Hydraulics undertook the design, manufacture of the main hydraulic cylinder, return stroke hydraulic cylinder, and mechanical arm, etc.; it used special structures and processes in design, process of the hydraulic cylinders, which achieved multiple technical breakthroughs; the hydraulic cylinders work properly, with no quality issues, which guarantees the rotation of 600-ton forge pieces and its drawing process. For many years, the hydraulic cylinders have good application results.
